WRITTEN AND PERFORMED BY JULIE BROWN & JOHNNY MCKNIGHT
Two performers sit within the ashes and burning embers of a ruined theatre, contemplating what happens next and how to get charcoal out of their costumes.
Intermission is for all the dreamers who were made to grow up and get real jobs; for the boys with high-pitched voices who never got to be the leading man; for the girls with two left feet who were too tall to be ballet dancers.
Intermission is for all those who could have been a contender.
Performed at Arches Theatre 2004
